A2Z Customs Inc provides full support for CARM registration, bond setup, and importer compliance.
Under CARM Release 2 (effective October 2024), every importer must post their own financial security with CBSA to use Release Prior to Payment (RPP) — A2Z Customs helps you set it up the right way.
A CARM bond (also called a D120 financial security bond or RPP bond) is a guarantee posted to CBSA so that your goods can be released before duties and GST are paid. Without it, every shipment requires upfront payment, which slows down your supply chain.
The bond amount is based on your highest monthly duties and taxes payable over the past 12 months — CBSA requires 50% of that peak month, with a minimum and maximum cap.
We coordinate with approved Canadian surety providers and walk you through the entire CARM bond setup, so you stay RPP-eligible from day one.
